Hi. My name is Lisa Eldred. I am motivated to become a tech nerd. I am intimidated with technology and need to get over my fear of it. I want to be as smart as my students! I need to step outside of my comfort level and try new things.
I hope to learn how to utilize my new Google Chrome books to their full extent. I never finished the class 3 years ago and would like to finish this time.
I am not comfortable with technology, especially if it's not an Apple product. My classroom had absolutely NO TECHNOLOGY. We didn't even have access to any because of all of the testing and lack of access. I take that back. I do have a Smartboard. That is awesome and I can't imagine teaching without it.
I hate technology! After attempting to do a screen cast and embed it, both of my kids came down to the kitchen and asked, "What's wrong, Mom?" I guess the look on my face says it all. I'm sure screen casts are super valuable and once I get the hang of it, I will love it. I guess you could say I'm an old dog learning new tricks!
